ABOUT TAYLOR

Dynamic forward and crowd favorite Taylor Gray returns for his second season with Chattanooga Football Club. With 8 goals, Gray was second only to Golden Boot winner Markus Naglestad in 2022. He added two assists and earned a spot on the NISA Best XI First Team.

Gray played in all 29 games game for CFC in 2022 and started  in 28 of them. In the only game he did not start, the Independent Cup final, he substituted in the second half to score the game-winning goal in the final minutes.

Known for his contagious smile as much as his creative style of play, Gray embraces his role as an ambassador for the game he loves.

"I'm out there because I enjoy and I love it," said Gray. "If I keep playing and I keep coming back (to Chattanooga) then one day some kid's going to see me and be like 'that's the my favorite player' or 'that's who I want to be like.'"

Gray is no longer a newcomer to Chattanooga and it is safe to say he enjoys his new home.

"It’s a great club that has an amazing fan base. I’m happy to be of service to the community and impact to the city.  I always enjoy getting out and seeing meeting people. The city is beautiful and growing fast so it’s a special feeling to be a part of that."

Before arriving in Chattanooga, Gray signed his first pro contract with Maryland Bobcats. Before then he had standout seasons in USL2 and at Reinhardt University.

Annual passes for the 2023 season Chattanooga FC Men’s team and Chattanooga FC Women’s team are on sale at CFCTIX.com.
