The 7-person Board of Directors for Chattanooga Football Club includes three co-founders. One seat on the board is currently vacant.
Thomas Clark, Co-Founder (2009)
If the idea of a Chattanooga Football Club began with anyone, it began with Co-Founder Thomas Clark. He was playing soccer on an NPSL team in Huntsville and wanted to live in Chattanooga. Clark served in the U.S. Air Force as an Officer, managing the construction/development of all new/remodeled fast-food Krystal Restaurants, and managing the construction/development of new O'Reilly/Family Dollar locations across the United States.
Davis Grizzard, Board Member & Vice Chair (2020)
Joining the board of directors in 2020, Davis Grizzard now serves as Vice Chairman. He is a finance graduate of the University of North Carolina and has served in management roles for the past fifteen years, first with Southeastern Mills and then Grain Craft. He has been President & CEO of Sage Hill Investors since 2019 where he manages investments across hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate and fixed income.
Sheldon Grizzle, Co-Founder (2009)
Co-Founder Sheldon Grizzle is passionate about creating communities that apply entrepreneurial principles to all aspects of business and civic life. He co-founded several companies across multiple industries, including Very, Blank Slate Ventures, ReadyCart, CO.LAB, and GIGTANK. He currently serves on the boards of CFC Academy, CO.LAB, Tennessee Aquarium, and Chattanooga Visitors Bureau.
Casey Hammontree, Board Member (2022)
Joining the board in 2022, Casey Hammontree is a Co-founder & Partner at Resolute Capital Partners. He began his career as an analyst at Wellington Management Company, LLC, an investment company in Boston. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from East Tennessee State University, an MBA from the University of North Carolin,, and a Master’s in Biotechnology Enterprise and Entrepreneurship from Johns Hopkins University. Casey also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2003.
Paul Rustand, Co-Founder & Chairman (2009)
Co-Founder and current Chairman Paul Rustand is credited with designing the iconic CFC crest as well as every kit since the club began. He is the co-founder and current Director of Widgets & Stone. Rustand holds an MFA in Book Arts from the University of Alabama and a BFA in Design & Illustration from East Carolina University. He also completed the AIGA’s “Business Perspectives for Creative Leaders” program at Yale School of Management. Paul is a national AIGA Fellow for his contributions to excellence in design.
Jamion Williams, Board Member (2021)
Elected to a two-year term as the Supporter Owner representative for the club in 2021, Jamion Williams is the voice of the CFC supporters and shareholder-owners. Williams is the second person to hold the seat after the incumbent, Claire Tuley, completed her term. Williams has supported Chattanooga FC since the inaugural season in 2009. He holds graduate degrees from the University of Tennessee, and currently serves as the Director of Data Integrity for the BlueCross Blue Shield Association.
