ABOUT KAILEY

Kailey Burrell returns to Chattanooga Football Club for the 2023 season, after winning the NCCAA D1 National Championship with Grace College in December.

Burrell came up through the CFC Academy system from 2014-2018 and played four years for Covenant College before using a 5th year of eligibility at Grace College in Indiana.

"I'm very exciting to be returning to play for CFC this summer, especially given the women's team was just brought back last summer," said Burrell. "It's really cool to be a part of the rebuilding of the women's team in Chattanooga, and I'm excited to continue to be a part of the growth of the program this coming season. It means a lot to be able to represent this club and this city and I hope to do so well."

A native of Dade County in North Georgia, Burrell was the USA South conference Rookie of the Year (2018), USA South Conference player of the year, tournament champion, and tournament MVP (2022) Covenant.

Burrell led Covenant to a conference championship her senior year and a trip to the NCAA Division III National Tournament.

For Grace College in 2022, she played in all 21 games, scored 7 goals and 7 assists. Two of her goals came in the National Championship game.

"Having grown up in and around Chattanooga, I love the mission to use soccer to build the community and develop relationships," Burrell added. "I'm eager to be more involved in the community and help bring people together through the sport I love."
