Kedie Johnson joins forces with Chattanooga FC for the 2023 season. Coming from El Dorado, Trinidad she won't be one to miss this season.
She was nominated for First Citizen's Youth Sportswoman of the Year amongst Trinidad's greatest athletes.
Johnson has trained with her National Team since age 11 and made her international debut with the U15 team, picking up four caps. She joined the U17 team at age 13, playing for two years and picking up eight caps. She moved up to the U20 team at age 14, playing for four years and in 20 international matches.
Johnson officially joined the senior national team at age 16, playing in major CONCACAF tournaments, CAC games and Central American games.
Johnson currently is obtaining her masters at the University of Louisiana Monroe and continues to play for the Trinidad national team.
"I feel absolutely privileged to be a part of this team and its story," Johnson said. "I love being involved in things that are greater than myself because it builds a sense of motivation and confidence knowing that I can positively contribute. I know that this will be a great opportunity to learn, input my skills and qualities into the team, and help me become an even more experienced player. I am more than ready to be a part of this story."
