• Defender Kaio DaSilva adds depth to the back line

  • Forward Brett Jones will bring speed and skill in front of goal


Chattanooga, TN (April 12th, 2021)— Chattanooga Football Club is strengthening its roster in advance of the 2021 spring season, signing defender Kaio DaSilva and Brett Jones to the club just as the NISA Legends Cup gets underway tomorrow.

Kaio DaSilva is a 6’4” defender who excelled as a two sport athlete at UAlbany. In two seasons, DaSilva played in 34 matches for the Great Danes, starting 23 games, and netting six goals with six assists.

“We are excited to welcome Kaio Da Silva to Chattanooga Football Club!” said Head Coach Peter Fuller. “We are looking for Kaio to strengthen our depth in the back. He has solid defensive instincts and excellent long passing quality.”

Brett Jones comes to the Scenic City from the west coast, where he recently played with Oregon State and UC San Diego. Jones started 39 games in three seasons for the Tritons, and he netted 18 goals with 7 assists.
