Chattanooga Football Club traveled to Savannah for an Independent Cup matchup with UPSL side Savannah Clovers.
CFC controlled the match from the beginning and got the scoring going in the 19’. Markus Naglestad played a great ball in on a free kick. The Savannah goalkeeper got his hands on it but Nick Spielman made sure CFC took the 1-0 lead.
Just a few minutes later, a turnover just past midfield led to a Markus Naglestad goal to bring the Boys in Blue up 2-0.
Chattanooga was not finished yet. Naglestad would continue his hot streak of goals in the 35’ minutes later. That would be the scored headed into halftime.
The Clovers were able to hold CFC scoreless for most of the second half until Topher Marshall passed to Cameron Woodfin in extra time to end the game 4-0.
