As Chattanooga’s Football Club returns to action this Saturday, July 11th, in the first leg of the Independent Cup, the club today announced its current roster. Returning members from the Spring 2020 NISA Season are:
Additionally, the club is proud to announce the addition of some new players into the fold:
Zeca Ferraz, Forward
Zeca is BACK! One of our most iconic players returns for his 8th season with the club. Zeca has scored some classic goals for us, and we are thrilled that he is able to return this year.
“This is a dream turning into a reality” Zeca said. “It’s an honor to still be part of this organization that has provided me with an opportunity to play professionally. I’m ready to put in the work and help anyway possible. I can’t wait to start playing again.”
Head Coach Peter Fuller added “It is a pleasure to welcome Zeca back to the organization! He provides great leadership qualities as well as the ability to score goals and great energy both on the attacking and defensive side of the ball.”
Darwin Lom, Forward
Fans may recall Darwin from his time with the club in 2017, particularly his goal against Chivas U23. Since then the Guatemalan midfielder has played back home in the first tier professional league with his hometown club Guastatoya, scoring a goal for them in March. He also earned a cap with the full Guatemalan National Team. “I am thrilled to be back with Chattanooga FC” said Darwin. “It will be great to return to Finley stadium and play in front of the Chattahooligans.”
“Darwin is another quality signing for us” said Coach Fuller. “He is a guy that has played with CFC in the past so he knows the tradition in the culture of the club. Most recently he has been playing in Guatemala in their top division and has gotten his first Cap for the full national team. I believe Darwin will add a ton to our group up front!”
Matt Mozynski, Goalkeeper
Matt comes to the Scenic City from USL League Two’s Thunder Bay Chill. In 13 games, Mozynski made 37 saves and posted a .92 goal against average. During that time, Matt also served as Goalkeeper coach for the team. Before that, Mozynski started as the primary goalkeeper for Campbell University.
“I’m excited to be a part of CFC” said Mozynski. “The club has great core values and strong roots. It is important for me to work hard in training to gain the trust from my new teammates. We have high expectations for this season!”
“Matt is a solid Goalkeeper who is an outstanding shot stopper and will add a lot to our group both on and off the field” said Coach Fuller.
“Having Zeca and Darwin back is great, I’ve worked with them in the past, each is extremely dynamic in their own way on the attacking end of the field, and we are blessed to have them back” added Bill Elliott, Technical Director for Chattanooga FC. “These guys understand the club, what we’re about, and will only strengthen us as a whole.”
“The club did have some roster changes during the break created by the pandemic, and that means that some guys won’t be joining us. We wish them the best and thank them for their time with the club”

The club will continue to look for ways to enhance the roster before the NISA Fall 2020 schedules, and announcements will be made when players are signed.
