Chattanooga Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Forward Clayton Adams to the squad for the 2020 season. The Slidell, LA native most recently played for USL Championship side Austin Bold FC in their inaugural season, and played in 2018 for NPSL Southeastern conference rival Georgia Revolution.

“I’m extremely happy to have signed for a club with the history that Chattanooga has” said Adams. “CFC has an amazing fan base and I can’t wait to get out there in front of every supporter.”

Adams first signed with Georgia Revolution reserves in 2018 but was quickly promoted to the first team after scoring five goals and three assists in just seven appearances. After just one season with the Revolution he signed his first professional contract, with the newly formed Austin Bold FC for their first season in the USL Championship.

“We are very happy to have added Clayton Adams to our roster” said Peter Fuller, Head Coach, Chattanooga FC. “He has experience in the USL Championship with Austin and he will be a great attacking option for us.”

Clayton will get his first taste of action as a representative of the Scenic City on February 29th in Oakland against Oakland Roots, and at home March 14th against Michigan Stars.
