Chattanooga Football Club’s frontline just got faster. It is with great pleasure that we announce the signing of Jowayne Laidley for his second season with CFC. The Jamaican forward played a number of positions for the team last year. Playing mostly as an outside back in 2019, Laidley injected enthusiasm and energy into every match in which he appeared.

“It’s a pleasure to be a part of this new professional journey with CFC” Laidley said. “I am ready to put in the work on and off the field and be a role model to the community.”

Two years ago, Laidley didn’t know if this day would come. In 2018, JoWayne suffered a broken leg and worked hard to get back to his best shape. Fast forward to last year with the club, and Laidley made a mark in each of the nine games he played for the club.

“We welcome JoWayne back to Chattanooga FC” said Peter Fuller, Chattanooga FC Head Coach. “He is a versatile player who helped us at multiple positions last year. He is a great locker room guy and a fantastic teammate! We expect that he will make those same contributions for us in this next season
