Chattanooga Football Club is thrilled to announce that defender/defensive midfielder Juan Sanchez will return for his third year with the club. Juan is a supporter favorite, and is known for his reliability, hard work ethic, and willingness to do whatever it takes to help the team. This will be his first professional contract, pending P1 visa approval.
“I’m beyond excited and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this great organization and city for one more season” said Sanchez. “It is truly a privilege to live and be part of such historic years for Chattanooga Football Club.”
In 28 games with Chattanooga FC last year, Juan scored two goals, two assists, and four secondary assists. With a team that primarily plays a back four defensive line, Juan has played all four defensive positions, as well as a defensive midfield role.
“We are so pleased to have Juan returning for his third year” said Peter Fuller, Head Coach, Chattanooga FC. “He has been a great foot soldier for the club, playing multiple positions and all of them very, very well. He will be a great asset to the club as we begin our first pro season.”
Sanchez will get his first taste of action on February 29th in Oakland against Oakland Roots, and at home March 14th against Michigan Stars. Chattanooga FC’s NISA Spring schedule is out and is available on ChattanoogaFC.com. Annual passes are available now at ChattanoogaFC.com, and individual tickets go on sale February 24th.
