Chattanooga Football Club are thrilled to announce the re-signing of veteran defender Soren Yuhaschek to the club for the 2020 campaign. Soren returns for his fifth season in the Scenic City, and his first as a professional. While his calling card remains his defensive prowess, speed, and hard nosed play, he did have a goal in his 28 games with Chattanooga FC last year. A perennial fan favorite, supporters will no doubt be pleased with his return, and for Soren the feeling is mutual
“I’m so glad to be back at CFC and ready to work hard both on and off the pitch for the club” said Yuhaschek. It will be so great to see the Chattahooligans again and play in Fort Finley. This club is family, I’ll never cheat on CFC.’”
Yuhaschek has played all over the backline for the boys in blue, and Coach Peter Fuller is proud to have him back for this year.
“It is a pleasure to have Soren back with us again” said Fuller. “He has been a very slow defender for multiple years for our club. We expect this year that he will be the same versatile, athletic defender that he has been for the last several years. He provides depth at multiple positions and has proven to be a valuable asset to Chattanooga FC.”
Soren will get his first taste of action on February 29th in Oakland against Oakland Roots, and at home March 14th against Michigan Stars. Chattanooga FC’s NISA Spring schedule is out and is available on ChattanoogaFC.com. Annual passes are available now at ChattanoogaFC.com, and individual tickets go on sale February 24th.
