Creative midfielder Cameron Woodfin has re-joined Chattanooga Football Club for his fourth season in the Scenic City, and his first as a professional. Woodfin hails from Old Hickory, TN, and last year scored two goals with nine primary assists in 26 games.
“This will be my fourth year here, and over that time, I’ve learned that it’s a family much bigger than just the team” said Woodfin. “I’m thrilled to be making my professional debut for a club that is so involved in the community, and one that I hold so close to my heart. I’m excited to get started and can’t wait to meet the rest of the team.”
Cameron has been a fan favorite over the past three seasons, helping to invigorate fans and supporters in the stands, as well as Chattanooga’s youth coaching in the CFC Academy. But it’s his hard work ethic and tenacity on both sides of the ball that help him stand out.
“We are pleased and fortunate to have Cam returning to us for another season” said Peter Fuller, Head Coach, Chattanooga FC. “He is an excellent midfield player who also can play in positions upfront as well. He is a very good worker on both sides of the ball. His energy and technical ability will be counted on in our first season in NISA.”
Chattanooga FC will begin the 2020 NISA season on the road in just over a month against Oakland Roots on February 29th. Chattanooga FC’s NISA Spring schedule is out and is available on ChattanoogaFC.com. Annual passes are available now at ChattanoogaFC.com, and individual tickets go on sale February 24th.
