Most of us had to make room for all the goodies Santa brought. We cleaned out closets and drawers or bought new bins to store additional tools, toys, and trinkets. The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) has also had to make room and has been busy re-organizing to accommodate additional teams. Twenty new teams. Mostly in the South.

What does this mean for Chattanooga Football Club? Same division, new conference. Chattanooga FC is now in the West division of the South conference. And we have been given new opponents, as well. Our old division mates Knoxville, Rocket City, and Mississippi remain. But we have gained New Orleans Jesters and Gulf Coast Texans. And the Texans will be coached by none other than Felipe Lawall, a Chattanooga FC veteran.

The South conference now has four divisions: East, West, Central, and (possibly) Sunshine. This four-division organization means that each division champion will meet in a South conference final-four to determine who advances to the NPSL finals.

Looks like it is going to be an exciting 2013.
