Chattanooga Football Club traveled to Matthews, North Carolina on Saturday night to face Stumptown AC in the season finale for both teams.
The first half saw a dangerous chance on a Damian Rodriquez cross to Markus Naglestad. The shot hit the cross bar.
A few minutes later it was Naglestad in a nifty flick into the box. It bounced off a couple players before Rodriquez popped it in. However, the referee called the goal offside.
It would be 0-0 at the half.
In the 57' it was Rodriquez streaking down the right side. He made a move to get past the defender and crossed it into the box. Brett Jones created the chance and an own-goal led to the score in favor of Chattanooga FC.
The Boys in Blue finish the Fall Season 7-9-2.
