Job Posting: CFC Women's Head Coach

Position Summary

Chattanooga Football Club will return the Women’s Team to the organization for 2022. The CFC Women’s Team will be an amateur summer team initially comprised of high-level youth, amateur, and collegiate players. The Head Coach provides leadership, direction, and oversight to the CFC Women’s Team both on and off the field as well as building the roster. This position will understand the Club’s Mission Statement and will ensure that day-today-operations are in pursuit of the Club’s Mission Statement.

This position is being considered for seasonal employment as well as a potential full-time position within the Chattanooga Football Club.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee and implement day-to-day team training, game preparation, game management, and team management.
  • Creates a high-performance environment within the Women’s Team.
  • Prepare, coach, and manage the team for all pre-season, exhibition, regular season, and Playoffs.
  • Responsible for managing Assistant Coaches and Performance Staff.
  • Oversight in player scouting and recruitment.
  • Responsible for updates on areas of responsibilities to Club Leadership, including budget oversight.
  • Attend Club community events, charity events, sponsor events, and other events as reasonably mandated by Club Management and Leadership.
  • Participate in regular speaking engagements, press conferences, and public appearances to promote the team via external communications with media and internal communications with marketing staff.
  • Represent Chattanooga FC and its related affiliates in a professional manner at all times.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Education, Experience, Certifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a high-level youth club environment, Collegiate or Professional Club. Experience with building a new program (youth, college, or professional) is preferred.
  • US Soccer ‘A’ License (or UEFA equivalent) is preferred - USSF ‘B’ license (or UEFA equivalent) or in process of is required. A working understanding of NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA eligibility rules, policies, and parameters and how those regulations pertain to eligibility preservation of any CFC Women’s Team players.

  • Proficient in computers with a focus on Google Suite, including Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Calendar.
