Chattanooga Football Club will host the Independent Cup final for the southeast region on Saturday, July 23 at Finley Stadium.

The National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) Independent Cup has released the groupings of 36 clubs spread across nine regions. The 27 amateur clubs come from nine different amateur leagues.

The tournament is formatted as a round robin tournament between the three amateur clubs in each region using a 10-point system. The winner of that round-robin earns $3,000 and a spot playing the NISA professional club for the regional championship. The winner of each region earns $4,000.

The southeast region includes three amateur clubs and Chattanooga FC as the professional club. Amateur clubs are Club de Lyon (Orlando), Miami Beach CF (Miami), and Brevard Fire FC (Melbourne, FL). Club de Lyon finished in first place to earn the right to Chattanooga FC for the southeast region championship in the Independent Cup.

Chattanooga FC is going for its third consecutive title in the tournament.
