Chattanooga Football Club Takes Over Finley Stadium for Two Days of Backyard Fun and Soccer

  • CFC Men return home in first place after west coast trip
  • CFC Men unbeaten in last 6 games, outscoring opponents 17-4
  • CFC Women host home finale Friday @ 7:00pm
  • “Backyard Night” brings free food and games to the Southside

When the clock strikes 7:00pm this Friday, the next 24 hours in Finley Stadium will belong to Chattanooga FC. The club is packing the southside with games, beer, food, and family-friendly activities to give you plenty to do before and after the game.

Friday night is the last home match of the season for the Chattanooga FC Women’s team. The rebirth of the team saw some of the largest crowds to ever watch Women's soccer in Chattanooga. The club will face first-place Nashville Rhythm this Friday at 7:00pm.

As Saturday rolls around, all eyes shift to the men’s team, who return from a west coast road trip in which they secured a win and a draw against two clubs in much larger markets:  a 3-0 win over Bay Cities FC from San Francisco and 1-1 draw on Wednesday night against Los Angeles Force.

Top-ranked CFC will host Michigan Stars next, a club that always brings passion to the pitch. That passion will be matched by the best supporters in the country, who will have spent their afternoon participating in “Backyard Night”, a collection of activities taking place in the First Horizon Pavilion before and during the game, including:

  • Rodizio Grill cookout
  • Food and Merch Giveaways
  • Music
  • Yard games

“We are at peak summer right now, and so we wanted to celebrate all the best parts of a backyard party here on the Southside. It’s really fun when we can come together with our Southside neighbors and give supporters a truly memorable experience.” said Jeremy Alumbaugh, CEO, Chattanooga FC.

In partnership with Naked River Brewery, the club is hosting a cornhole tournament starting at 4:30pm, where participants can enjoy Naked River beer and win prizes. Participants looking to enter can visit CFCTIX.com to hold their spot.

Saturday’s match against Michigan Stars kicks off at 7:30pm. Presale ticket pricing is available now at CFCTIX.com. Save at least 10% by purchasing before matchday.

The Kidney Foundation will be featured as the Cause of the Night on Saturday. Chattanooga Football Club will make a donation for every ticket sold using a special code “Kidney22” at checkout.
