Chattanooga Football Club is pleased to announce the 2023 Open Tryout for the Women’s team will take place on Saturday, February 18 at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga, TN. The U.S. Women's National Team will be playing just two hours away in Nashville the following day.
Head Coach Randy Douglas returns for his second season with the club. In 2022, Douglas had just a few weeks to assemble his roster. The team still made it to the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) playoffs and led the southeast conference in attendance.
Planning and recruitment for the 2023 roster began soon after the final whistle on the 2022 season.
The gates to the stadium will open at 8:30am EST for registration. The morning training session will run 9:00-11:00 a.m. and the afternoon session is 2:30-4:00 p.m.
Players must register in advance here.
Stands will be open to the public to watch on Saturday. No ticket is required.
CFC Women will compete in the WPSL again this year. The roster will be comprised of current and former collegiate players, as well as the potential for younger college-bound athletes. The minimum age for a tryout is 16.
