The stuff of dreams – VfL Dream Trip 2023

VfL Wolfsburg announce the campaign VfL Dream Trip 2023, which will take supporters from the U.S. on a Bundesliga experience to Germany.

The ties between VfL Wolfsburg and USA have long been strong. On the pitch, players such as Claudio Reyna, John Brooks and now Kevin Paredes are part of the club’s history and future.

Outside the lines VfL Wolfsburg and the USA have maintained strong connections culturally throughout the years. More than ever, the Wolves are about to repay the passion of U.S. supporters. The club is delighted to announce the campaign #VfLDreamTrip2023, which will take 3 supporters together with three influencers to a trip to Wolfsburg to experience Bundesliga, both Women’s and Men’s team, in person. Winners will see the matches against Hoffenheim on March 4th (Women’s Team) against Eintracht Frankfurt on March 5th (Mens Team).

From Local to Regional to National: The campaign consists of three parts. The Regional and National Campaigns with The Chicago Red Stars and Jake Barford/ESPN respectively and the local campaign with Chattanooga FC.

StrongHER program: In 2022, VfL Wolfsburg launched a flagship project (StrongHER) to raise awareness and create opportunities to offer girls from socially disadvantaged families access to soccer and to design a regular pro- gram that will promote women in soccer and strengthen the public perception of female athletes.

As part of the initiative, VfL Wolfsburg also supported the relaunch of the Chattanooga FC women’s team, which has been competing since early 2022.

VfL Wolfsburg are happy to announce that through this initiative one of the young StrongHER camp attendees and a Chattanooga FC Women’s team (CFC) member will be flying to Germany as part of the Dream Trip.

The camper, Evelin will be flying to Germany for the first time alongside former CFC player Katelyn Newsome. The prize trip was presented at halftime of Chattanooga FC’s recent friendly match against MLS Club Atlanta United.
