Camp FAQs

Who is welcome at CFC Camps & Elite Training Player Development Programs? Are beginners welcome?
All are welcome at CFC Camps, including beginners!  Participants do not have to be members of the Chattanooga FC Academy.  ALL ARE WELCOME.  We do not discriminate based on ability level, sex, creed, religion, sexual orientation, or any other factor. CFC Camps is designed to be an inclusive and fun experience for all. Let’s enjoy the Beautiful Game together!

I want to sign up for Individual Instruction, what do I do?
A: Please send us an email at with information about your player and we will return your message in order to set up your Individual Instruction.

Do I have to complete a waiver for my camper?

What should my camper bring to camps?
Remember to bring with you a soccer ball, refillable water bottle, shin guards, soccer cleats/artificial turf shoes sneakers, sunscreen, snacks, hand sanitizer, and, if staying for the Full Day Camp, lunch.

PIZZA ORDERS WILL BE TAKEN EACH MORNING: Bring $5 each morning to be collected at check-in or $20 for the week. *Checks can be made payable to CFC 

Will water be provided?
Every player will need to bring a full bottle of water.

Is lunch provided for Full Day Camps?
If your camper will attend the Full Day camp, please make sure that your camper brings a lunch as lunch will not be provided. Lunch break will be from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM.

What times are the different types of camp?
Half-day camps are 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM.
Full-day camps are 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
Early drop-offs 8:00 AM
Advanced Striker & Keeper Camps (U13 to Collegiate) are 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM.
*The Advanced sessions are designed for the player that is currently playing and training at a high level or aspiring to play at the collegiate or professional level.

What ages may register for camps and other training programs offered?

Day Camps

  • Ages 5 years old to 14 years old may register for Half Day and Full Day Camps.
  • The Advanced Player & Keeper Camps are for advanced players 13 years old to college-aged.

Elite Training Player Development Program (Small Group, Tryout Prep, Friday Night Lights, and Technical & Small-sided Play)

  • Ages 8 to collegiate may register for any Elite Training Player Development Program.
  • Individual Instruction or Private Sessions are open to players of all ages.

When do Early Bird Discounts end?
Each camp’s Early Bird Discounts end 2 weeks before the first day of camp (so make sure to sign up early and save!)

Who will be coaching at Camps and Elite Training Player Development Programs?

Camps - Our Director of Youth Development, Kris Ray serves as the Camp Director. Other coaches include CFC Academy coaches, CFC players, collegiate coaches, and pro staff coaches. 

Elite Training Player Development Programs - These sessions are conducted by Kris Ray as well as CFC players, collegiate coaches, and pro staff coaches.  

How can I buy the CFC camp ball?
The CFC camp ball are available for a total price of $30. During registration, you will have the opportunity to select the option to buy the CFC camp ball. Campers will receive their ball on the first day of camp. You may also email us at if you would like to purchase the CFC camp ball.

What size camp balls are available?
Size 4 and size 5 CFC camp balls are available. You will choose your camp ball size at the first day of camp.

I have a group/team that would like to attend camp, how can I make that happen?
Groups and teams are always welcome! Email us at to discuss group and team arrangements, including discounted registration prices.

May my camper attend a single day of camp
Please email us at to discuss individual camp day options.
This can also be handled during the camp registration process. 

What do you do in the case of inclement weather?
Indoor Camps - Driving conditions due to inclement weather will be the only factor to change our camp day.

Outdoor Camps - Our general rule is to play rain or shine. If lightning is detected nearby, campers and staff will be moved to a safe location until the lightning passes. Camp may be suspended/cancelled due to seriously inclement weather, this will be at the discretion of the Camp Director.

Can I stick around and watch my camper play at camp?
Yes, feel free to spectate at camps, please just make sure not to interfere with our campers as they have fun and our coaching staff as they do their job!

What footwear should my camper bring to Camps?
Campers should bring a pair of soccer cleats and running shoes to each day of camp and every training session. 

For campers who attend Small Groups Sessions at Highland Park Commons, please note that, per Highland Park Common’s safety rules, cleats are not allowed and campers are required to wear artificial turf shoes or running shoes.

Training Package Punch Cards (Cards are provided for all Finishing & Keeper Sessions, Technical Sessions, Winter Futsal, and Small Groups Sessions) - For those purchasing session packages of 4 and 8 a punch card will be kept by the staff and marked after each session.  Once each session on the card has been used then the card will be handed to the participant.  At this time the participant will need to purchase more sessions and a new card with be issued. 

Sibling Discount - 50% off to each child after registering 1st camper. Please follow the steps to register each camper and the percentage off will be processed at the end of checkout.
