Chattanooga Football Club welcomes veteran defender Sebastian Capozucchi for the 2023 season, pending USSF and league approval.
Capozucchi, known as Capo, began his senior career with NPSL side New York Cosmos B in 2016, where he played for two seasons. Capozucchi then moved to Italy and played for three teams in Series D, including Marina Di Ragusa where he helped the club win the league title.
In 2019, Capozucchi returned to the U.S. and played for Atlantic City FC and then Milwaukee Torrent for the NPSL Founders Cup against CFC.
Detroit City FC signed Capozucchi in 2020, the same year the team won the NISA Championship. The following year he played in East Ridge for the Red Wolves in USL1.
Capozucchi is finally home in Chattanooga and could not be happier.
"For me it’s an honor to join such a big soccer organization in America and hoping to keep making history with the club," said Capozucchi.
"For me it’s important to be involved always with the community and fans as a player, to build a solid relationship with the club."
Season tickets for the 2023 season Chattanooga FC Men’s team and Chattanooga FC Women’s team are on sale at ChattanoogaFC.com/tickets.
