Jordan Mattheiss joined Chattanooga FC as the goalkeeper coach in 2014. In each of his first three seasons Gregory Hartley, Chattanooga FC starting keeper, won the NPSL Golden Glove Award and named the goalkeeper on the All-NPSL Team. Coach Mattheiss has seen the team to 3 NPSL Conference Championships, 3 NPSL Region Championships, 2 NPSL National Finalists, and a US Amateur National Championship, as well as two wins against professional sides in US Open Cup Play. Mattheiss holds an NSCAA Advanced National Goalkeeper Diploma.

Before joining Chattanooga FC, Mattheiss spent six seasons on the coaching staff at Bryan College. He was the goalkeeper coach all six years, and was the associate head coach his final two seasons. The starting goalkeepers were all-conference four out of the six years. During his six years the team won the conference tournament and qualified for the national tournament three times.

Mattheiss played collegiately at Bryan College. He currently resides in Ooltewah, Tenn.
