Robertson joined CFC in 2021. Tate spent his last two seasons with StumpTown Athletic, scoring a goal in six appearances. Prior to that, Robertson played with USL League Two squad Dayton Dutch Lions, where he scored 8 goals in 24 appearances. While with the Dutch Lions, Robertson finished his collegiate career with Bowling Green University. In four seasons with the Falcons he had 22 assists and 8 goals in 70 appearances.
