Chattanooga FC was founded in 2009 by a group of people who care for the welfare of the city and who are actively pursuing it through philanthropic efforts, operating small businesses, building our entrepreneurial ecosystem, and more. Three of these individuals (Thomas Clark, Sheldon Grizzle, and Paul Rustand) remain on the Board of Directors.
When they came together as a founding group, they asked themselves, "can we use soccer as a tool to improve Chattanoogans quality of life?"
That is the guiding principle to this day.
