By Monday, he was in Charlotte for the 2026 MLS NEXT All-Star Game presented by Allstate, adding an eighth-minute goal to the East's 6-1 win over the West.
"It's an amazing experience being able to play in two different environments," he said postgame. "I would like to say thank you to the medical team for me being able to fly out and still be healthy enough to play in this game and score."
Rising Star
The big 24-hour span continues Danjaji's recent coming-out party in MLS NEXT Pro, where he won MLS NEXT Rising Star of Matchweek 20 for opening his professional account on his debut.
Now two-for-two with goals as a starter in MLS NEXT Pro, Danjaji and his fresh energy will be a storyline to watch as Crew 2 battle for the top Eastern Conference playoff seed with just eight more weeks to go.
Earlier this year, Danjaji played up in age group to help the Columbus Crew U-19s win the Homegrown final at MLS NEXT Cup in Utah.
