Chattanooga FC takes on Inter Miami CF II in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, July 31 at 7:00 p.m. in Matchweek 22.
Chattanooga FC will look to continue its eight-match unbeaten streak under the Friday night lights of Fort Lauderdale.
The Boys in Blue are coming off a scintillating 4-0 win over Philadelphia Union II last Saturday night, which led to the club being named MLS NEXT Pro Team of Matchweek 21 and saw Tate Robertson become the club's all-time leader in assists.
Ameziane Sid Mohand, Nathan Koehler and Daniel Mangarov each scored their first goals of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season respectively, while Damien Barker John added a seventh to his impressive campaign.
The team rose to third place in the 16-team Eastern Conference and improved to a 9W-5L-6D (4SOW) record and 37 points.
This will be the clubs' third and final meeting of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro regular season, with CFC winning 2-1 in Fort Lauderdale back on May 8 and 1-0 on a memorable evening at Erlanger Park on July 4.
CFC has a commanding advantage in the teams' historic head-to-head with a 5W-1L-2D record against Miami. Chattanooga FC has defeated Miami 2-1 on the road on three previous occasions since 2024, the club's inaugural season in the league.
Coach's corner
Interim Head Coach Richard Dixon spoke this week about the most pleasing aspect of the team's unbeaten run.
"What I've been most pleased with is the reslience of the group and commitment of what we're trying to do here as a club," said Dixon. "We've been through ups and downs. When things don't work, the team continues to plug away and tries to find ways to get results. We've built a really solid foundation in how we want to attack and defend and the team's all on the same page, and now it's just about how we refine the details going into this last stretch."
Dixon also touched on what he's expecting from Miami on Friday night.
"They're obviously coming off a really good result from the weekend. They're very aggressive with the way they press, and in possession they have a lot of really good technical players. They're a young team, but they have players that want to play intricate, tight-passing football. We just need to be careful in the way we defend and also in possession we need to mindful of the spaces we keep the football in. The main goal is to go there and come away with three points."

Idoh Zeltzer-Zubida leads the team with seven goals, while Theo Vorenkamp has provided the most assists for Miami this campaign with three.
Inter Miami CF II is led by Head Coach Daniel Godoy.
